New Academy Award for Innovation

ECG sponsor Vehnet has announced the creation of a new Award for Innovation, to be presented to the most outstanding delegate attending the ECG Academy course to qualify as a Certifiable Automotive Logistician.

The announcement was made in January at Broekman Automotive in Rotterdam, where the ECG Academy held it’s ‘Terminal Management & Technologies module. Twenty four highly motivated and ambitious delegates from countries all over Europe are attending the current course. All are young professionals from ECG member companies, car manufacturers and supplier organisations.

Commenting on the Award, Group Managing Director Steve Jones said, “Vehnet has built a strong reputation for innovation within the Finished Vehicle Logistics sector and we are keen to encourage excellence in this sphere amongst  young men and women who will be the future of this important industry.”

The Award will go to the delegate who demonstrates excellence in innovation, productivity or collaboration within their company, using their newly acquired knowledge and skills, gained over the course with the ECG Academy. The first Award will be presented at the ECG Annual Conference, which will be held in Munich, in October this year.
