Vehnet strengthens management team as business expands
Experienced project manager Heidi Fiani has joined the management team at UK based Vehnet, the automotive industry's leading software specialist for finished vehicle logistics.
Heidi's appointment follows a series of major contract wins for the company, including securing a global agreement with Volvo to deploy their forward thinking finished vehicle logistics technology at yards owned or operated by Volvo worldwide, and a significant three phase implementation project at sites in St. Petersburg and Moscow for Rolf Group (check out the case study), the largest importer and retailer of foreign-made cars in Russia.
"We are enjoying an unprecedented period of growth, expanding into new markets geographically and developing solutions for sectors outside what has traditionally been our core business," explained Steve Jones, Group Managing Director. Heidi brings over thirty years experience to her new role as Project and Resource Manager at Vehnet, having project managed IT software implementations as well as hardware installations across a wide range of industries, including the automotive sector.

"Immediate objectives include bringing visibility to resource planning and useage, offering additional project support for the Vehnet implementation team and their customers, and enhancing the Vehnet implementation methodology where possible. In achieving this, I hope to bring added value to the already excellent implementation processes provided by Vehnet."
