Vehnet supports 100,000 vehicles at new CAT facility
Vehnet’s industry leading i-Tracks information systems will support the processing of 100,000 new vehicles at CAT UK’s recently opened Vehicle Processing Centre in Southampton.
Software specialist Vehnet has been on board with CAT UK since 2004; since then, CAT UK has realised cost savings and seen a 20% improvement in productivity, according to Managing Director Stuart Warren.
“We are proud to be part of the CAT UK success story,” says Group Managing Director of Vehnet, Steve Jones. “Our systems have migrated seamlessly across to CAT’s new facility, and we look forward to continuing to work closely with CAT UK and the CAT Group, in along term partnership, enabling them to benefit further from Vehnet’s innovative approach to software solutions”
The implementation of i-Tracks has provided micro visibility of CAT’s workshop processes, supporting the complexity of service demanded by its customers and delivering increased control with reduced cost.
CAT Southampton is designed to produce over 100,000 new vehicles each year through its bespoke facilities in Southampton Docks.
